Standardized Test preparation
Every Test Prep cycle begins with a timed math practice test, taken in our studio in the format of the real exam.
It shows us where your child stands and what to work on first.
The Practice Test
Book a time below, at least 12 hours ahead, and choose the test your child is preparing for.
We email you directions and payment details.
Arrive at the time you booked. After fifteen minutes to settle in, your child takes the test: 70 minutes for the SAT, 65 for the ISEE Lower Level, 75 for the ISEE Middle and Upper Levels.
Stay or step out; we'll text you when your child is finishing.

We provide pencils, scrap paper and, where the test allows one, a calculator. Your child brings nothing.
Practice tests are offered for the SAT and the ISEE (Lower, Middle and Upper Levels), math sections only. [SSAT and ACT: the Programs copy lists them; add them here once a practice test exists for each, or remove them from Programs]
Fee
The practice test is $225, paid by Zelle to billing@thelyceumla.com before the test begins. It is waived for families referred by a current Lyceum family, and credited toward your first payment if your child enrolls in a cycle within thirty days.

The Cycles
Half Cycle. Six sessions and three practice tests. $1,000 individually; $600 per student in a small group.
Full Cycle. Twelve sessions and six practice tests. $1,800 individually; $1,000 per student in a small group.

The practice test you book here counts as the first of your cycle. Each cycle is planned backward from your child's test date, so we ask for a target date at enrollment. We recommend starting a Half Cycle at least 45 days before the test and a Full Cycle at least 90.
